Five locations to fall in love with
Paris is a regular destination for the Live Group team and it’s certainly an easy location to love.
Renowed as the city of romance, the French capital is the second most visited city in Europe after London. With its stunning architecture, sweeping boulevards, chic boutiques and gastronomic scene, Paris oozes elegance and sophistication. It’s a melting pot of historic monuments and contemporary style. World-class galleries and exhibitions make it a haven for art lovers, while delectable cuisine tempts foodies from afar.
The city’s event venues comprise a similar mix of timeless elegance, designer flair and French charm, with grand hotels and iconic landmarks sitting alongside underground speakeasies and rooftop restaurants.
In this blog, we look at five of our current favourites event venues in Paris.

The Louvre
Arguably the world’s most famous art museum, the Louvre Estate provides a variety of options for events, from stunning galleries to historic gardens and a fascinating museum.
The foyer and four flexible rooms in Le Carrousel de Louvre can accommodate between 500 and 4,000 people, whilst space in the iconic Tuileries Garden can be sectioned off as required to meet your needs. For smaller gatherings of up to 80 people, private tours of the Musée Eugène-Delacroix can be arranged, followed by a reception in the painter’s studio or garden.
The Ritz
This luxurious hotel underwent a $450 million refurbishment in 2016. Everything about the venue, from the crystal chandeliers to the state-of-the-art tech, and from the private garden to the gilded sculptures, has been designed to the highest standards.
Six rooms and the landscaped Grand Jardin can be used alone or combined to accommodate gatherings of between ten to five hundred people.
Paris Clandestin
An extraordinary subterranean space, Paris Clandestin was previously the wine cellar of Louis XIV.
Dating from the 15th century, it now comprises three distinct rooms: The Lounge, The Bar Club, and The Chill, complete with table football, pool, karaoke and other entertainment. Highly sociable and ideal for getting a group talking, the spaces can be hired independently or together, giving a total capacity of 200 people.
Les Pavillons de Bercy
Reminiscent of an old-school French circus, Les Pavillons de Bercy is described as an entertaining museum for special events. Unlike anything else in Paris (or beyond!), four huge spaces each transport delegates back in time to the fairs and carnivals of yesteryear.
The replica funfair complete with carousel is spectacular and the mirrored Belle Epoque show hall features trapeze artists, acrobats, musicians and other entertainers delighting guests on arrival. Rooms can be hired separately or the venue can be booked for exclusive use, providing space for up to 2,500 people in total.
Eiffel Tower
Located on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, the Gustave Eiffel reception hall enjoys an enviable location in one of the most recognisable buildings in the world.
At a height of 57 metres, the venue offers unobstructed views across the city of Paris through the floor-to-ceiling windows, a modular stage and contemporary décor. Alternatively, for views of the Eiffel Tower itself, head to the 210m high Observatoire Panoramique de la Tour Montparnasse, one of the highest observation decks in Europe with stunning panoramic views. Both venues can accommodate up to 300 delegates.
