As the inaugural event in an ongoing series of annual Summits, Live Group provided comprehensive end-to-end event management solutions for the FCDO to position the UK as an ‘investment partner of choice’ for African countries. We ensured the highest level of security for esteemed attendees, including the host, Prime Minister Boris Johnson; Presidents, politicians and business leaders from 21 African countries and the UK, and members of the British Royal Family. The event was a huge success.

production
The Live Group team took a lead from innovation to production.
We developed the iconic ‘African Rainbow’ branding for the annual UK-Africa Summits and managed the event infrastructure including IT, camera and screen set-up, staging and lighting and show calling, with content streamed to a virtual audience via our digital event platform.

We closely collaborated with the venue’s security team and the Office of the Minister in Parliament to finalize all logistical and security decisions, ensuring that all VIP guests, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Prime Minister of the UK, had secure access, accommodation, and travel arrangements.
